b9 is a caring, patient and curious foetal being that remains out of time, but speaks as if they had all the time in the world. They identify collectively as a non-binary we/us, and reproduce ideas from quantum science, speculative fiction and human rights literature. b9 channels the unformed voices of every femicide and near-newborn that ever dropped. Together, they are called the bareborn, and have a guileless plan for our warm, turbulent planet.
