Hukam Singh is a liberal. He is particularly concerned about ensuring that the rights of Indian citizens, especially that of the freedom of speech and expression, are not restricted in the Constitution of India. He is capable of making a cogent argument in defence of his views and is unafraid to speak out against the dominant view in the Constituent Assembly.
